The Sanctuary

The Spirit of Kapilash

Rising majestically in Dhenkanal district, Odisha, the Kapilash hill range is a sacred site of ancient temples and biodiverse ecosystems. It is home to leopards, elephants, and hundreds of species of wild orchids and medicinal trees.

It is in this pristine, protected reserve that our wild honey bees build their natural combs. Free from the influence of city pollutants, chemical pesticides, or industrial emissions, they produce honey of unmatched purity and rich nutrient profile.

Sustaining Communities & Ecosystems

We work hand-in-hand with traditional, indigenous forest gatherers who have lived in harmony with the Kapilash forest for generations. Beekeeping and wild honey collection are age-old arts, handed down through families.

Our harvesting practices are strictly ethical:

  • We harvest honey only from mature combs, leaving plenty of food for the bees.
  • No bees are harmed during the smoke-based traditional harvest.
  • Sourcing directly from forest gatherers guarantees fair trade wages, supporting local rural livelihoods.
Commitment to Nature

Unheated. Unfiltered. Unaltered.

We believe in keeping honey exactly as the bees made it. Kapilash Amrit is never pasteurized, micro-filtered, or adulterated with sugar syrups. It contains all natural pollen grains, organic enzymes, and vitamins intact.
